Research Groups and Areas

To cope with the increasing demands and challenges in team-work-based research projects, DOP’s faculty is organized into 12 technical interest groups that, although featuring different research focuses, are highly interrelated and represent as a whole the major research thrusts of the department. Despite working on their major fields, many faculty members engage in research in multiple technical interest groups. A brief description of each group and a list of the corresponding major areas of research are provided as follows.
