Current Research Areas
Our general research direction is in image science and technology based on interference and diffraction. In the field of image display, we develop holography of various types which potentially can be used for security application, 3D printer, and 3D display. In optical information processing, we develop optical system with different filter functions to facilitate identification of general objects. In interferometry, we try to develop various white-light interferometers and use them for interferometric measurement.
