Course Objectives The broad aim of this course is to provide the students with the knowledge that is required to design and manufacture various types of solar cells and photovoltaic systems.

Topical Outline At the end of this course, the students are expected to understand how various factors important in the design of solar cells and photovoltaic systems affect their spectral response, temperature sensitivity, resistive losses, current generation and open- circuit voltages, etc.
