OS3001 Optical Systems Last Revised: 2020-04-14
Course Objectives This course starts form the basic concepts of optics, and then further explains the characteristics and application concepts of optical components. Through the examples of optical engineering and system construction, students will clearly understand the relationship,evolution and trends of optical electronic science and modern technology. It strengthens students' thinking ability, and expand their thinking dimensions. As a result, it lays a solid foundation for the design and application of optical systems.

Textbook Introduction to Optical and Photonic Engineering

(2) Basic Optics;
(3) Practical Optical Systems;
(4) Mid-term Exam.;
(5) Report by Students;
(6) Final Exam.
