Dop Course Outline
OS2006 Microelectronics II Last Revised: 2020-04-14
Course Objectives This course provides an introduction to the basic devices and circuits in modern microelectronics. Students will first learn basic semiconductor devices and electronic circuits composing of operational amplifier, current mirror, differential and cascode amplifier. This is one of the fundamental and pre-requested courses in photonics, electronics and electrical engineering.
Students will learn how to analyze the electronic circuits with equivalent models. Some fundamental applications of the components will also be covered (including the power amplifiers, oscillators, and filters).
