Last Revised: 2020-04-14
Course Objectives
This course starts with phenomenological light-matter interaction, basic concept of spectrum and color science following by basic geometrical optics. An additional special topics on camera is given to provide the platform for students to understand the phenomena and applications of geometrical optics. Finally, advanced geometrical optics is lectured to establish more geometrical optics concepts as the starting point for advanced study. this course utilizes flipped classroom concept along with optical phenomenon in daily life to interest student and promote the study motivation.
