Current Research Areas
This research group devotes in studying the properties of new laser optical element, volume Bragg grating, and constructing various laser systems based on this element to develop its applications such as laser display, laser spectroscopy, holographic storage light source… etc. On the other hand, we work on developing laser material and laser system configuration. In cooperating with thermal management and optical simulation, we try to enhance various laser output properties such as longitudinal mode, transverse mode, laser wavelength, etc… At the mean time, we also study the thermal properties of high power LED package with simulation and experiment.
