Prof. Pei-Hsun Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Optics and Photonics at National Central University. Currently, Dr. Wang is looking for both graduate / undergraduate students (research project).

Adviser:
Dr. Wang’s research interests include ultrafast optics, silicon photonics, and fiber communications. He has authored or coauthored 16 SCI journal papers and 24 conference papers in the novel area of ultrafast optics and microresonator-based comb applications.
Research interests:
1. Silicon photonics
- Silicon nitride / silicon waveguide process investigation and fabrication
- Waveguide microresonator dispersion / coupling studies
2. Ultrafast optics
- Optical frequency comb generation and on-chip design
- Time-domain characterization for coherent combs
- Pulse shaping techniques
3. On-chip applications
- Comb spectroscopy, sensing, EO modulator
- Optical communication
