Biography

Chih-Ming Wang is currently a professor in the Department of Optics and Photonics, National Central University in Taiwan. His current research interests focus on the applications of nanophotonics, metamaterials, and metasurfaces. Dr. Wang’s research team possess the capability of independently handling all theoretical modeling, numerical simulation, and experimental demonstration. He has published many related papers in high-profile journals including Nature Photonics, Advanced Material, Nano Letter, Phys. Rev. Lett., Opt. Lett., Optics Express, Applied Physics Letter and so on.

Current Research Areas

Our research topics focus on the applications of optics and photonics based on plasmonic metamaterial. Currently, the applications are as follow:


1. Manipulate the temporal and spatial coherence of mid-infrared thermal radiation based on metasurfaces.

2. Multi-functional Meta-optics system
