課程目標

As part of this course, students will develop a solid understanding of the theoretical formulation of Finite-Difference-Time-Domain Method, grating diffraction, and coupled mode analysis that are fundamental to Silicon Photonics. In addition, students will demonstrate the implementation of the FDTD method upon completion of this course.
